30 Years of JBPro
As the year comes to a close, I always enjoy looking back and reflecting on our accomplishments and performance. It never ceases to amaze me how much can be accomplished in a single year, and 2025 was certainly no exception.
Our growth continued, and we ended the year with a staff of 52 dedicated employees who collectively represent our shared core values. We worked incredibly hard and had our best year ever by adding new clients, completing fantastic new projects, and growing our departmental teams to expand our multi-disciplinary service offerings. Our commitment to giving back to the community was exceptional, as our teams participated in the Breast Cancer Awareness Walk, the Children’s Home Society school supply drive, Operation Gratitude Notes of Appreciation, and hosting the Mirror Image Leadership Academy. In addition, our employees supported causes through many other clubs, organizations, and churches across Florida.
As a testament to our dedication to professional development, our teams attended and participated in over 10 conferences including attending the Florida Recreation and Park Association and the Society of American Military Engineers conferences for the first time. We continued to grow into new regions and markets including new clients from Jacksonville to Crystal River to Hillsborough County Public Schools. We also welcomed new key staff members to our Civil Engineering, Surveying, Planning, and Finance teams. To provide turn-key services for our clients and further augment our surveying and engineering operations, we’ve added ground penetrating radar and subsurface utility engineering services. We continued to prioritize training programs and growth opportunities across all departments including the launch of the JBPro Leadership Book Club, which has been a powerful addition for learning and professional development among our staff.
While it has been an incredible year of work-related success, we also made it a priority to have fun together. This year, we launched the much anticipated JBPro Olympics, where staff competed in a dozen family-friendly events while enjoying fun, food, and prizes (with the ultimate bragging rights going to the Red Team). Our teams tried their hand at a variety of activities like kickball, softball, basketball, bowling, Kan Jam, axe throwing, and so much more. We also enjoyed a chili cookoff, tailgates, Halloween night, potlucks, and an incredible holiday party that ended the social calendar on a wonderful note. It was such a pleasure to spend time together outside the office and appreciate how much we enjoy one another’s company.
To top it all off, 2025 also marked the 30-year anniversary of the founding of JBPro, and celebrating that milestone during our best year ever made it even more special. I am so excited to see what is in store for 2026 as we turn the calendar to the New Year. We open the doors to 2026 with confidence that we have an incredible staff, wonderful clients to serve, great projects ahead, and so very much to be thankful for.
